Sany Group Leading in Intelligent Manufacturing Revolution

Sany Group signed a cooperative agreement to build an intelligent manufacturing base in China's southeastern Guangdong province on July 13, 2016. The manufacturing base will be built in the Longhua New District area of Shenzhen and will be fully equipped with intelligent manufacturing systems and smart service platforms.

Sany has developed intelligent manufacturing for a long period of time and will take it as a supporting structure for the company in the future,said He Dongdong, Sany Heavy Industry's Senior Vice-President.

Sany's products, and manufacturing and service systems have remained at the forefront of technological development and allowed Sany to be a key player in the digital industrial revolution.

The company has used its robust R&D capacity to develop systems and technologies that allow it to achieve high production efficiency and build products that offer greater functionality.

The Sany Changsha Industrial Park has an Asia's largest intelligent manufacturing plant. Sany's Lingang Industrial Park in Shanghai has also adopted highly-advanced manufacturing technologies and has become a perfect model of Sany's intelligent industrial systems.

Sany's achievements in digital industrial innovation have led it to be among the first companies in the construction machinery industry to be listed on the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 2015 Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Projects.

Over the years, Sany has been reinvesting 7% of its annual sales revenue in R&D every year and has built a large data platform, all to help increase its technological development strength.

Intelligent Machines
Sany machines feature an intelligent SYMC chip through which detailed information on the machine's operation can be automatically recorded and uploaded to the cloud. This allows users to easily manage their equipment and enables Sany to further improve its products' performance and functionality based off feedback data.

Intelligent Production Systems
Sany has equipped its Changsha and Shanghai manufacturing bases with highly-advanced digital technologies. Using smart Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Sany is able to efficiently manage factory-floor production.

Intelligent Service Platforms
Sany's comprehensive service stands out in the construction machinery industry. Over 200,000 units of Sany machinery have been connected to the service platform and customers worldwide have been able to receive real-time machine operation information, along with reliable and timely maintenance.
